 PRUNING

Pruning camellias is best done as soon as the plant has completed the flower-producing phase of its growth. Preferably, this should be done before the Spring season commences and never left until the end of the year, as December is the time when camellias begin to produce their flower-buds for  the ensuing year.

Pruning can assist in eliminating both Scale and attack by a variety of mites, is also helpful in shaping your camellias and to control their height.
