GROWING CONDITIONS

Camellias are part of the “Theaceae” family and will grow well given the right conditions. They are acid-loving plants and need soil which has a Ph level of 5.5 to 6 and in the warmer months should be watered twice weekly if needed, especially in summer, but less in winter, they should be kept well watered and their roots should never be allowed to become dry, death of the plant in these circumstances is most probable.
